Leopard Trails Wilpattu

Lying a short distance from the national park entrance Leopard Trails camp is tucked away quietly in the bush. It is a small camp giving an authentic safari experience. Beyond the open dining tent there are 3 classic tents and 2 tented-suites. Much like walk-in safari tents in Africa the classic tents have an outdoor shower at the back and at the front a small verandah on which to sit and look out at the surrounding bush. However, unlike most in Africa, they are air-conditioned. The suites are more spacious and also have air conditioning and an indoor shower incorporated into the bathroom. These suites are ideal for families as extra beds can be added.

The food here is varied and always delicious Sri Lanka cuisine with a flare for flavours and textures. Leopard Trails have their own friendly naturalists in camp who are keen to discuss the wildlife and conservation. It is likely that you will use your own private naturalist that has accompanied you on tour but Leopard Trails offer a fully inclusive package with game drives.
