Take an easy walk through nature and discover the secrets that lie within this magnificent forest with a visit to an old gold cave, now home to sparkling glow worms. Learn about the areas fascinating gold mining history and be amazed and entertained as you discover some of the use for the native flora and fauna. As you emerge from the forests the stunning coastal scenery beckons with it's white sand beaches, cavernous caves, and towering cliffs. Visit the famous Hot Water Beach and marvel at your guide’s “treasures” from nature, which includes gold specimens, crystals, petrified wood, Kauri gum and other minerals found on the peninsula.
