Two of Tanzania's best kept secrets: Unspoilt and pristine, remote and teeming with wildlife, this is a truly rewarding adventure to the beautiful wilds of the southwest.

Take this amazing safari into the most remote and unspoilt regions of Tanzania. Starting with an overnight in a luxurious lodge in Arusha to refresh you from your flight; early the next morning fly to Tanzania's third largest park, Katavi, one of those few, wonderful destinations where other people are an unusual sighting! The endless floodplains, together with palm-fringed Lake Chada and Lake Katavi boast a rich list of over 400 bird species, plus a huge concentration of hippos and crocodiles, not to mention the exciting prospect of spotting the 'Big Five'.

Scenic Mahale Mountains National Park could almost give you the feeling of being transported to an uninhabited Indian Ocean island, the white sandy beaches of Lake Tanganyika with a backdrop of the mountain slopes; make this one of Tanzania's most beautiful parks. A diverse forest fauna and flora, including troops of red colobus, red-tailed and blue monkeys and a population of some 800 chimpanzees, Mahale feels like a hidden sanctuary forgotten by man - and long may it remain that way.
