Classic tiger reserve in Rajasthan

Ranthambore National Park

Located near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park is one of India’s most iconic tiger reserves, home to nearly 90 tigers. With many of these big cats accustomed to the presence of safari jeeps, visitors have a strong chance of spotting them in their natural habitat: stalking through golden grasslands, lounging in the shade of trees, or patrolling the ruins of centuries-old forts and palaces from a regal past.

The park is teeming with wildlife: herds of sambar, chital, and nilgai graze peacefully, while leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, and marsh crocodiles keep the ecosystem vibrant and alive. Those who love birdwatching will find a rich avian diversity of over 250 species.
