This journey will take you along one of the most spectacular scenic highways in the world.  Starting in Calgary you will pass through Banff and Lake Louise with time to explore the National Parks before continuing on to Jasper.  The drive provides many stops to breathe in the clear air, gaze in wonder at the pine-clad snow-capped mountains and be amazed at the incredible aquamarine waters of the glacial lakes. Stopping off in these rustic towns will also give you a chance to venture out in search of black bears, moose and big horn sheep and for lasting memories we have included an ice-walk on the Athabasca Glacier, as well as a cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake.

Leaving Alberta, head into British Columbia where further adventures await in Wells Gray Provincial Park and Gold Bridge, with horse riding, mountain hikes and outstanding wildlife opportunities in beautiful surroundings.

Your days on the road will afford spectacular vistas around each  and every corner and should be embraced as part of the adventure.  With so many photo opportunities you are sure to make many stops and there are opportunities along the way for short hikes, picnic breaks and wildlife observation.  Be sure to have your camera at the ready!

Finally, spend a little time in the mountain resort of Whistler before heading along the Sea to Sky Highway towards Vancouver. Here you can get out on the water once again to not only see the city from a different perspective but also for the chance to see seals and bald eagles in their natural habitat.  Your journey ends in Vancouver, one of the country's most vibrant cities, where more urban and coastal exploration, and maybe just a little bit of shopping, is on the agenda.
