Jongomero

Ruaha is a lesser known national park in Tanzania, and due to its remote, peaceful location and the prolific game, those safari enthusiasts in the know seek out this park and for those looking for some luxury, Jongomero Camp is the only camp of choice.

By far the most luxurious camp in this huge wilderness reserve, Jongomero stands out. It is also the most southerly of the camps and far away from the other few camps. It is ideally placed for observing elephants and game drives reveal huge herds of buffalo roaming the plains. The camp has eight large luxurious tents with thatch roofs and a wooden viewing verandah, while the central area has an inviting dining and lounge area, plus the pool for cooling off in the afternoon sun.
