This is more than just a city tour however as, after a lunch stop by a beautiful beach, your guide will show you Auckland's 'other face' the breath-taking deserted beaches and ancient forest of the Waitakere Ranges on the west coast, just a short drive from the city. Walk amongst giant ferns and ancient kauri trees along the easy tracks of the lush rainforest, see the shy bush-dwelling birds and learn the significance of many indigenous plants and trees before reaching the black sands of Piha Beach to watch the pounding surf roll in.
