With air travel making journeys easy, short breaks are possible in many destinations in Europe, Africa and even Asia and the east coast of Canada. Most of our short breaks are of course in Europe, but far enough away that you will feel in a completely different world, deep in the forests of Finland, exploring Iceland or experiencing the architectural wonders of Sweden.
Currently, the most popular short breaks are those heading to Finland and Sweden to discover the magic of winter in the far north and to enjoy searching for the Northern Lights. The Aurora has really sparked the imagination of the travelling public and with years of experience in Northern Lights holidays, we are proud to offer our advice.
Wildlife safaris in East Africa are possible without jetlag, for instance with international arrivals into Nairobi connecting with morning flights into the Masai Mara. In the same manner gorilla trekking in Bwindi, Uganda or Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda is also possible on short breaks from the UK.
