Wake Up Santa - Family Christmas in Lapland

This festive 'Bucket List' Christmas adventure offers some of the very best winter activities allowing you to fully experience the stunning natural beauty of Lapland. Meet the reindeer, marvel at the beauty of the fells and forests as you travel by snowmobile and husky drawn sled, enjoy traditional snow fun activities and watch the magic come alive in your children's eyes when they meet Santa himself. 

You may choose to stay for 3 or 4 nights and the activities included remain the same! 

Day 1: Depart UK for Finnish Lapland
Fly from London Heathrow or Manchester to Kittilä via Helsinki and transfer to Harriniva Adventure Resort.  Staying in comfortable hotel rooms, cosy cabins or luxurious Arctic Glass Suites, this family-owned holiday destination is set amongst pristine nature in Western Lapland, with a wealth of outdoor adventures at your disposal.  

Day 2: Huskies & Snowmobiles
Begin your adventure with an exciting family husky safari through the snow-covered forests and across frozen lakes, sit back and enjoy the ride as your experienced musher navigates the trails. After lunch get the adrenaline racing as you whizz through the Finnish countryside by snowmobile. 

Day 3: Reindeer, Santa Claus and Snow Fun 
Meet the reindeer at their home on a nearby traditional farm and enjoy a short sleigh ride in the forest before heading back to base. This afternoon it's the moment the children have been waiting for... it's time to meet Santa! The elves will guide the way to his secret hideout deep in the forest for your own private meeting with the Man himself! While you wait for your private visit there is time to try out snowshoes, ice fishing, tobogganing and a highlight for the children will be the chance to drive their own mini snowmobile! 

Day 4: Depart Lapland
The adventure is sadly over and it's time to head home but you will take with you some fabulous memories to share for years to come.
